Ethics Committee Approval

Ethics Committee Approval is required for research that requires data collection from participants using qualitative or quantitative approaches, research in which humans and animals are used for experimental or other scientific purposes, clinical research on humans, research on animals and retrospective research in accordance with the law on the protection of personal data. In such research articles, information on Ethics Committee Approval must be included in the relevant sections and research and publication ethics must be complied with.

In articles related to the presentation of cases, it is necessary to indicate that the informed consent form has been obtained, to obtain and indicate permission from the owners for the use of scales, questionnaires, photographs belonging to others, and to comply with copyright regulations for the intellectual and artistic works used.

Ethics Committee Approval will not be requested for review articles. However, research and publication ethics must still be followed.
